Background:
The attached Settlement Agreement, Release, and Covenant Not to Sue, shall serve to resolve the pending appeal of Development Order #25-30000115, which involves a variance approved by the Board of Adjustment for construction of a pool at 601 Lake Shore Drive, Maitland, Florida, 32751, owned by Robert and Melissa Taylor. The case was subsequently appealed to the Board of County Commissioners.
The agreement sets forth conditions whereby the Taylors shall withdraw their variance request and restore the property to its previous condition, and release the County from any liability or claims. The County shall provide payment in the amount of $40,000 to the Taylors, which shall cover the costs associated with the construction, variance, attorney’s fees, and all other costs incurred.
