Background:
RFP-603870-20/BJC provides Third Party Administration (TPA) Services to Seminole County. The current agreement is for five years beginning in 2020 and expiring on 9/24/2025 with no renewals. The Risk Management Division is requesting to extend this agreement for a period of 2 years.
In 2023, Risk Management contracted a consultant to procure and implement a Risk Management Information System (RMIS). The software has been contracted, and implementation is underway. Significant work hours will be necessary to bring claims information into the RMIS. To avoid interruption in the implementation work with the TPA, the Division is requesting an extension of two years.
