Background:
At the October 10, 2023, Board of County Commissioners Meeting, consent agenda item number 6 was approved, awarding the Homeless Services Network of Central Florida (HSN) funding in the amount of $44,000 annually for a term of one (1) year, with two (2) one (1) year renewals with County approval. This amendment provides clarification that the $44,000 will be renewed annually as opposed to being the maximum amount of the contract over the three (3) year period.
Requested Action:
Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Homeless Services Network of Central Florida, Inc. Community Services Funding Agreement Amendment Fiscal Year 2023-2024 that confirms the annual allocation for the continuation of advocacy services for the homeless population in Central Florida.
