Background:
On March 4, 1980, Seminole County entered into an agreement with Central Florida Regional Hospital, a subsidiary of HCA. Due to the age of this contract and the fact that we do not have similar arrangements with other hospital systems, Community Services recommends non-renewal of this agreement in the county. The County Attorney’s Office reviewed the agreement and all amendments and prepared the notice of non-renewal. Seminole County will continue to process approved indigent care claims received from HCA for admissions dated prior to April 26, 2025.
