Background:
These parcels (No. 107 & 108) have been identified as being needed for property interests necessary for the Hillview Drive Drainage Improvement Project. The owner (The Pentecostal Church of God, Inc. / Tax ID No. 22-21-29-300-0050-0000 & 22-21-29-300-005A-0000) of the property located at 560 Hillview Drive on the north side of Hillview Drive, approximately 296± feet (0.06 miles) east of Mathews Road, in Altamonte Springs, Florida, has agreed to sell and convey needed property interests to Seminole County for the sum of $89,060.00, inclusive of all fees and costs.
The property is vacant and consists of 0.19± acres of land. The County’s valuation of this acquisition is $64,100.00. The County’s incentivized offer amount was $89,060.00, which was accepted by the owner, inclusive of all fees and costs.
Requested Action:
Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Purchase Agreement related to Project Parcels No. 107 & 108 for property interests necessary for the Hillview Drive Drainage Improvement Project (8,221± SF) between The Pentecostal Church of God, Inc. and Seminole County for $89,060.00, as full settlement and any other claim for compensation from which Seminole County might be obligated to pay relating to the parcel.
