The Applicant is requesting approval of a Special Event Permit for the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Greek Fest 2024. The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Greek Fest 2024 will include Greek Folk Dancers and a live band, located in the church pavilion. A variety of food tents will be located throughout the site. The number of attendees is expected to be 1,500 on Friday and Sunday and 4,500 guests on Saturday.  The Event hours will be Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

An updated Certificate of Insurance must be submitted prior to the Special Event as the current Certificate will expire and must be renewed prior to the Event.

Pursuant to Section 30.6.4.2 (a)(3), of the Land Development Code, once the Board of County Commissioners has approved a special event, subsequent applications for the same special event are only required to be reviewed and approved by the Development Services Director or designee. If the special event is substantially modified or changed from prior Board approval, the special event application would be required to obtain Board approval.
