Background:
This parcel (No. 1-817) has been identified as being needed for a drainage easement necessary for the County’s Midway Drainage Improvement Project. The owner (Barbara K. Kirby-Bentley / Tax ID No. 33-19-31-300-0920-0000) of the property located at 2179 Sipes Avenue on the easterly side of Sipes Avenue, approximately 425± feet (0.08 miles) north of Midway Avenue, in Sanford, Florida, has agreed to sell and convey this drainage easement to Seminole County for the sum of $19,460.00, inclusive of all fees and costs.
The parent property is improved with a single-family residence and ancillary improvements and consists of 0.34± acres of land. The County’s valuation of this acquisition is $12,200.00, a portion of which includes the cost to cure to make the owner whole. The County’s incentivized offer amount was $19,460.00, which was accepted by the owner, inclusive of all fees and costs.
