Background:
The Oxford Road Improvements project consists of improvements to Oxford Road from Fern Park Boulevard north to SR 436, and the extension of Fern Park Boulevard from Oxford Road west to US 17-92. Part of the project scope is to convert the overhead power lines to underground service and to install decorative light poles. For Duke Energy Corporation to remove a guy pole (and miscellaneous work needed to complete the removal) the following Utility Relocation Agreement with Duke Energy Corporation for $50,000 must be executed.
Requested Action:
Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Utility Relocation Agreement between Seminole County and Duke Energy Corporation for the Oxford Road Improvements Project at a cost of $50,000.
