Background:
The subject Agreement is in accordance with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Adopted Five Year Work Program to undertake the project described as: “State Road 46 (from east of County Road 15 / Upsala Road to French Avenue).” Financial Project Number (FPN) 447103-1-52-01. The project is for the traffic signal upgrade from strain pole to painted mast arm at one intersection (SR 46 at Aero Lane/ Harvest Time Drive) and painted mast arms at two intersections (SR 46 at Persimmon Ave and SR 46 at South Mangoustine Ave). Seminole County’s contribution amount for improvements will be $194,095.00 (One Hundred Ninety-Four Thousand Ninety-Five Dollars and No/100). The funds will be coming out of FY23/24 Sales Tax Funds
Requested Action:
Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Resolution and the Locally Funded Agreement Between the State of Florida Department of Transportation and Seminole County for the traffic signal upgrade from strain pole to painted mast arm at one intersection and painted mast arms at two intersections. Seminole County’s contribution amount for improvements will be $194,095.00 (One Hundred Ninety-Four Thousand Ninety-Five Dollars and No/100).
