Background:
The U.S. Department of Justice has announced funding to enhance Adult Treatment Court Services. The award would be for 4 years for up to $1,000,000.00. If awarded, Seminole County will use the funding to expand the Adult Drug Court’s recovery services through access to long-term treatment, housing, vocational and educational services, transportation, and establishing a peer mentor program.
This solicitation requires a 25 percent cash or in-kind match based on the total project’s cost. The match requirement would be provided by personnel support from the 18th Circuit Court and Seminole County including the Financial Grant Manager, Problem Solving Courts Manager, State Attorney, and Judge.
