Motion/Recommendation:

2. Deny approval of the Special Event Permit for the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Annual Springs Concert - Music of the Beatles with Guest Artists of Classical Mystery Tour; or
3. Continue the request to a time and date certain.
Background:
The Applicant is requesting approval of a Special Event Permit for the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Annual Springs Concert - the Music of the Beatles with Guest Artists of Classical Mystery Tour. The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing the music for the event which is anticipated to attract approximately 2,500 guests. The event will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, with a rain-out date of Sunday, April 2, 2023 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. A dress rehearsal will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Staff Recommendation:
Recommend the Board of County Commissioners approve the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Annual Springs Concert Special Event Permit - the Music of the Beatles with Guest Artists of Classical Mystery Tour on Saturday, April 1, 2023, with a rain-out date of Sunday, April 2, 2023 and a dress rehearsal on Friday, March 31, 2023, subject to staff’s recommendations included in the attached Special Event Permit.
Note: The Special Event Permit Conditions of Approval (i.e., full details of the above conditions) are contained in the Special Event Permit in this Agenda Memorandum to be issued by Seminole County, if approved by the Board of County Commissioners.
