Background:

The Mullet Lake Park - Retreat Road Drainage Improvement Project Phase II is for regrading, upsizing, and adding drains along Retreat Rd.  In June 2022, the Board approved a contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) to fund 75% of the project.  The total project cost for Phase II has been revised from $1,288,173 to $1,573,128.  Modification #1 will provide an additional $213,716.25 of additional funding to complete the construction project.

The BAR adds the additional grant funding and reduces the Sales Tax funding to the amount necessary to complete construction including a 10% contingency.  The total project including Phase I Design, Land Purchase, and 10% contingency is $2,787,742.  Details are provided in the attached Project Cost Table.
