PROJECT PARCEL No. 1-811
This parcel (No. 1-811) has been identified as being needed for a drainage easement necessary for the County’s Midway Drainage Improvement Project. The owners (Alton L. Glenn and Lajuliette S. Glenn / Tax ID No. 32-19-31-512-0000-0010) of the property located at 2180 Center Street on the west side of Center Street, approximately 420± feet (0.08 miles) north of Midway Avenue, in Sanford, Florida, have agreed to sell and convey this drainage easement to Seminole County for the sum of $16,380.00, inclusive of all fees and costs.
The parent property is improved with a single-family residence and ancillary improvements and consists of 0.52± acres of land. The County’s valuation of this acquisition is $10,000.00, a portion of which includes the cost to cure to make the owner whole. The County’s incentivized offer amount was $16,380.00, which was accepted by the owner, inclusive of all fees and costs.

This parcel (No. 1-829) has been identified as being needed for a drainage easement necessary for the County’s Midway Drainage Improvement Project. The owners (Alton L. Glenn and Lajuliette S. Glenn / Tax ID No. 32-19-31-513-0000-0310) of the property located at 2200 Center Street on the west side of Center Street, approximately 360± feet (0.07 miles) north of Midway Avenue, in Sanford, Florida, have agreed to sell and convey this drainage easement to Seminole County for the sum of $15,220.00, inclusive of all fees and costs.
The parent property is improved with a single-family residence and ancillary improvements and consists of 0.10± acres of land. The County’s valuation of this acquisition is $9,200.00, a portion of which includes the cost to cure to make the owner whole. The County’s incentivized offer amount was $15,220.00, which was accepted by the owner, inclusive of all fees and costs.
Both parcels together total $31,600.00

Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Purchase Agreement related to Project Parcels No. 1-811 and 1-829 for drainage easements necessary for the Midway Drainage Improvement Project (965± SF & 628.14± SF, respectively) between Alton L. Glenn and Lajuliette S. Glenn and Seminole County for $31,600.00, as full settlement and any other claim for compensation from which Seminole County might be obligated to pay relating to the parcel.
