Background:
The Florida Division of Emergency Management and State Emergency Response Team purchased equipment to support and assist in response efforts during an emergency. The State collaborates with Florida counties, cities, agencies, municipalities, and additional partners to position and maintain these critical assets throughout the State. This MOA will provide Seminole County with one (1) gooseneck trailer for official government use in support of Seminole County Fire Department’s mission and consortium membership to enable the readiness and response of Florida Task Force 4. This trailer will be utilized for Task Force deployments as deemed necessary and appropriate in support of the State and County’s mission to protect life and property.
Requested Action:
Staff requests the Board approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Seminole County and the Florida Division of Emergency Management.
